Cape Lookout Charters
Inshore: The Grasshopper is a custom built 19' tunnel skiff I made in the Spring of 2000 to tackle some inshore shallow fisheries. This boat was made to fish through the low tides for the puppy drum(redfish), speckled trout, and flounder. She draws 4 1/2" with the motor up and on plane she draws 14" of water. Plenty of fishing space 19'x8', which makes her very stable. The 5 stringers are glassed in w/ epoxy, the decks are all 3/4 a/c plywood glassed w/ 1808 ( a bidirectional cloth use on the hulls of 50' sport fishers) and epoxied in. Fore and aft casting decks, 22 gallon livewell, 28 gallon gas tank, Fly rod holders, 50 thrust minn kota bow mounted trolling motor. Powered w/ a quiet Suziki 70 hp fourstroke. One of a kind, 19' custom epoxy tunnel skiff.
The Dirty Dave is a custom 24' deep vee center console, full inboard. I made this vessel to fish in the ocean on the great wreck/reef fishery. The deep vee makes for a very dry, comfortable ride. This fishing machice has a big livewell, gps, loran, depth finder, radio, and cell. If you bring it we can store it, spacious below deck storage. Powered by a marine power fuel injected 350 chevy, 310 hp and fits under the console. Very quiet compared to an outboard and no blue smoke.
